about me

I've loved sports for my whole life - although I didn't play any personally! In high school, I was the color commentator and sideline reporter for my school's network, the Irish Media Network. That's where my love for sportscasting began. At Oklahoma State, I was a reporter, host and producer of The Poke Report, a student-run sports network. I anchored the weekly sports show, and produced shows as well. I also created and co-host a weekly podcast, The OSU Preview, where myself and two analysts discussed OSU and Big 12 football. Summer of 2022, I held two internship roles with the Florence Flamingos, a collegiate summer baseball team in the Coastal Plain League. I was both the entertainment intern, and in-game host. I was responsible for any and all game entertainment, from planning skits, to checking props, and getting fans signed up. I assisted in marketing as well, taking videos from the dugout and running the Flamingos' social media accounts. I also conducted player and coach interviews. I was able to complete a semester at North Dakota State University in spring 2021. While in Fargo, I co-hosted another sports show, Bison Overtime, in addition to reporting on football games. I was able to work alongside NDSU Athletics for volleyball, softball and baseball behind the scenes. I returned to Florence after graduating and accepting a full-time position with the Flamingos and I love it! The switch to communications from reporting has been challenging but I've learned so much and am looking forward to this new adventure in my sports media journey. I love working with the sponsors and host families of the Flamingos and getting involved with the Florence community. Since starting, the Flamingos social medias saw an increase of over 30,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok, X and Facebook. Looking forward to what's next with the boldest team in sports!
